Wheelin' with Justice

Chow, baby, chow.

That's what we're going to do at the community Peace Potluck in Lansing, Michigan, on Tuesday, October 7th. Our special guests will be the Wheels of Justice, which pulled into town on Sunday. If you live in the Greater Lansing Michigan area, you're invited to join us. Bring a dish to pass, if you can, or just show up. You can fill up with sustenance and substance and still have plenty of time to get home to watch the Presidential debates at 9 p.m.

Potluck Peace Dinner featuring the Wheels of Justice
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church
215 N. Capitol
Lansing, Michigan

After the Wheels of Justice arrived on Sunday, we had a whirl-wind day in Lansing as we stopped in Lansing's Old Town for the Cost of War Exhibit, stopped by the Islamic Center of East Lansing, and had dinner with a festive group at New Aladdin's in Frandor. Wow! I took off for the ice rink after all that just to get some rest. (The pictures shown below are from Sunday's events and today's visit to the Michigan Peace Team.)

Please check out my blog entry for October 2nd as it details the Wheels stops at Lansing Community College and Michigan State University on Wednesday, October 8th. All these events -- starting with the potluck -- are great opportunities to talk with the Wheels delegation including Dan Pearson, Ceylon Mooney, Leah Patriarco, and Bill Hill.
