Vimeo in the Night: Peace Art & Activism by Favianna Rodriguez

Apparently there can be some advantages to waking up in the middle of the night. Clicking around Facebook led me to new video postings by activist-artist extraordinaire Favianna Rodriguez. She just recently posted some video collaborations with Reed Rickert and Geraldine Lozano on Vimeo.com.

Below is a high-energy video montage of Faviana's recent work in Mexico with a 14-artist delegation at the Festival Internacional de los Nuevos Vientos.

This past spring, Favianna was an artist-in-residence at Michigan State University. You can read about some of her experience in mid-Michigan here.
